Mission
1st2c was established by experienced Internet and marketing strategy professionals in late 2004, with the aim of becoming the key player and standard setter in the emerging Consumer Media market.

Rt Hon Lord Young of Graffham PC DL
Non-Executive Chairman
Originally a solicitor, Lord Young of Graffham has extensive experience across both the business world and within the political sphere.
After building up his own companies for nearly twenty years, he joined the government in 1979 as a volunteer civil servant, introducing privatization in the Department of Industry, serving eventually as Chairman of the Manpower Services Commission from April 1982. September 1984 saw David Young enter the Lords and join the Cabinet as Minister without Portfolio becoming Secretary of State for Employment in 1985 and after the 1987 election where he had a key role, became Secretary of State for Trade and Industry and President of the Board of Trade. He retired from government in July 1989, serving as Deputy Chairman of the Party until June 1990. That year also saw the publication of his book “ The Enterprise Years”.
At the beginning of 1990, he became a director of Salomon Inc (until May 1994) and was invited to become Executive Chairman of Cable & Wireless PLC in October 1990 where he served until November 1995. He founded Young Associates Ltd, a Private Equity house in 1996 where he is currently Chairman and is Chairman of a number of companies on AIM. Until 2002 was the President of the Institute of Directors.
Lord Young’s interests are wide-ranging, Chairman of Council, University College London; Chairman of Chichester Festival Theatre, Chairman of the Development Board and member of Council of the Princes Trust amongst others.
He lists music, book collecting and photography among his interests.
Ron Atzmon
Founder & CEO
Ron has more than a decade of experience in Internet, business development and corporate financing, and 3 years in the online consumer-generated intelligence business. Ron worked at IBI Underwriting & Investment the leading Investment bank in Israel (presently part of Bank Hapoalim), where he led the private equity sector in Internet & Technology. Previously he worked at Leedan private investment company, Packard Bell -NEC, Toys R Us and Blockbuster.
Ron Holds a B.A. in Business, specializing in Marketing and Human Resources, from the College of Management in Rishon-Lezion, and an MBA from the Imperial College Management School, University of London
Ofer Friedman
CRCO
Ofer has 9 years experience in strategic planning at D'Arcy and BBDO Worldwide, and 5 years experience in consumer research at the Gallup Organization in Israel. He brings extensive experience in brand building and business development, working with global brand leaders (such as Nokia, P&G, Energizer, Bosch, Fiat/Alfa-Romeo/Lancia, Kimberly Clark, Wrigley, Sony, GE, L'Oreal, Philips, and Coca-Cola). Ofer also has 3 years experience in business development in Europe.
Ofer holds a B.Sc. Social Sciences, Tel-Aviv University, magna cum laude, and M.Sc. in Management sciences, both from Tel-Aviv University. He also benefits from international training by D'Arcy Worldwide and Procter & Gamble.
Doron Retter
Founder & CTO
Doron has rich experience and knowledge in data mining and decision support systems. He brings 10 years of experience in project management, and five years in central functions at Assa-OR & Textology. Prior to working at Assa-OR Doron worked as an analyst at Orantech ltd, a consulting company who specialized in project management.
Doron holds a B.A. in Computer Science from the Inter-Disciplinary Centre in Herzliya (IDC).

Avinoam Brog
Avinoam is partner and President of Market Watch, the leading market research and public opinion polls firm in Israel, and president of GFK market research operations in Israel. He brings on valuable experience in understanding consumer behavior and market trends. His insight into qualitative and quantitative research has earned him the title of "Israel's Marketing Guru" and he is often quoted in the media on various related topics. Avinoam is the brother of Ehud Barak, the former prime minister of Israel.
Mr Brog holds an M.A. in Clinical Psychology and a B.A. in Sociology & Psychology, both from the Hebrew University.
Prof. Ronald R. Coifman
Ronald Rafael Coifman is Phillips professor of mathematics at Yale University. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Geneva in 1965. Prior to coming to Yale in 1980, he was a professor at Washington University in St Louis, and chairman of the Yale Mathematics Department 1986-89.
Prof. Coifman is a member of the National Academy of Sciences, the American Academy Arts and Science and the Connecticut Academy of Science and Engineering.
Prof. Coifman received numerous academic awards and distinctions. Amongst them are the DARPA Sustained Excellence Award in 1996, the Connecticut Science Medal in 1996, the Pioneer award from the International Society for Industrial and applied Mathematics in 1999 and the National Medal of Science in 1999.
Prof. published 8 books and more the 150 publications. His recent publications have been in the areas of information organization and inferential geometry, nonlinear Fourier Analysis, wavelet theory, numerical analysis and scattering theory. Prof. Coifman is currently leading a research program to develop new mathematical tools with applications to information and knowledge structures.
Prof. Coifman founded FMA&H - a company specializing in the conversion of theoretical mathematical tools into engineering software for fast computation and processing. He is also founder, Chairman and CTO of PlainSight Systems Corp., a company dedicated to the management and organization of complex data.
Dr. Galit Nimrod
With more than 10 years experience as Senior Strategic Planner at McCann-Erickson and Y&R. She currently holds positions of Professor at the School of Communication at the Sapir Academic College, and Research Associate at the Department of Gerontology at the University of Haifa. Dr Nimrod brings in a perfect integration between theory and practice. Her fields of expertise include later life transitions, leisure sociology and psychology, consumer behavior and marketing communications.
Dr Nimrod Holds a B.A. Economics from Tel Aviv University, summa cum-laude, an M.A. in Communication and Journalism from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, summa cum-laude, and a Ph.D. in Communication and Journalism from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. In addition, she holds a post-doctorate from the University of Georgia, US, and has recently received Fulbright post-doctoral scholar award.
